With nearly 30 years experience in art publishing, Kelly Kane has served previously as Content Director for Pastel Journal, The Artist’s Magazine, Drawing, and Acrylic Artist, and Editor-in-Chief of Watercolor Artist magazine.

She has interviewed many of the preeminent artists of our time and written numerous articles about painting, drawing, art education, and art history.

Kari first discovered pastels 10 years ago while attending her first Plein Air Convention & Expo.

Since then she has become passionate about the medium and encouraged Streamline Publishing, Inc to produce more pastel-related videos and events.

With her role as Pastel Today Community Ambassador, Kari informs our readers about the day-to-day goings on in the pastel world.
