    Albert Handell

Albert Handell, one of the nation’s foremost impressionist artists, lives and paints in his adopted city of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Known internationally for his works in pastel, in 1987 the Pastel Society of America elected him into their Hall of Fame, making him, at that time, one of three living American artists so honoured. In the warmer months, Handell paints on location coast-to-coast while in the winter months, you’ll find him snuggled into his Santa Fe studio, painting larger works with oils. This seasonal changeover keeps Handell ‘fresh’.
