Sally Strand

The recipient of numerous top awards, Sally Strand was inducted into the Pastel Society of America Hall of Fame in 2007, their highest commendation. She was honoured with the Eminent Pastelist Award, the foremost designation of IAPS (the International Association of Pastel Societies). Her solo exhibitions in galleries and museums include a one-person retrospective of paintings at the Bakersfield Museum of Art in California. Widely published in books and magazines internationally, her work is also represented in many corporate, private and museum collections including the Butler Institute of American Art. She earned an MFA degree from the Laguna College of Art and Design. Strand teaches workshops and master classes internationally.
